Romm’s Unique One Year Repair Guarantee
We guarantee everything that we make, repair or sell for one year from the date of delivery. That means we guarantee such things as stones falling out or becoming loose and the parts that we made or repaired will not break in the areas in which we worked. While we try to restore each piece to best possible condition, sometimes due to wear or to original design limitations, we have to back pedal on our guarantees. Examples of jewelry with high maintenance probabilities even when new include hollow chains and invisible set diamonds. We will always stand behind our work, but sometimes flaws inthe original design, manufacture, or wear are beyond the scope of our expert crafts people.

Watch repairs are guaranteed for 12 months on our work. We are unable to warrant your work if the watch is unable to seal out water and dust or if we are asked to do a partial rather than a full repair.

Repair Guarantee Limitations
By depositing these items with Romm’s, customer agrees that Romm’s is not responsible for identifying the condition of the jewelry or stones. Since many stone treatments, such as fracture filling, laser drilling or other clarity or color enhancement may be undetectable to the eye, it is the responsibility of the customer to notify the crafts person of these pre-existing conditions. Romm’s is not responsible for stones that may be damaged in setting or repair work due to these unknown conditions. We can not assume responsibility for diamonds and gems over one half carat. For that you need insurance. We recommend Jeweler’s Mutual insurance, but you can also get special coverage by listing your jewelry on your home owners policy.

We are not responsible for any repair left over one year after completion of intended repair task. Not responsible for items left over one year. Items receipted pursuant to Section 31C of the General Laws must be claimed within one year of such receipt, maybe subject to sale. If the preceding sentence appears ungrammatical, that is the way it is written in the general laws of the Commonwealth.

Customer agrees that Romm’s liability shall be limited to actual cost to repair or replace. Most white gold jewelry is rhodium plated which is not a permanent treatment.
